I boiled the rice for a few minutes and passed it under a stream of cold water to cool. I put part of it in the meatballs and the rest in the soup with the meatballs.
In a bowl, over the minced meat to the food processor (I do not use minced meat because it is too fat) I added the egg, 1/2 onion, salt, pepper, a little dill and 3 tablespoons of rice. I mixed all the ingredients well and formed in the bridge of the palms the hairs watering the hands with cold water (so as not to stick the meat to the hands).
In a pot with about 3-4 l of water, I boiled the onion and the diced chopped roots and, in a few minutes, the pepper. When they were half cooked, I dipped the meatballs and the rest of the rice. After they were all cooked, I added the homemade broth and then the borscht. I salted it to taste and poured a little oil. At the end I added a little dill and larch.
